History: 

Founded in 1916 in Springfield the church, located at 155 Railroad Avenue, was dedicated by Bishop William T. Russell on December 6, 1926. St. Theresa has been a mission of St. Andrew in Barnwell and also a mission of the Redemptorist Fathers at Holy Trinity. In 2002 a new parish hall was built with a kitchen, a great hall and classrooms. Currently the mission serves over 20 households.
